Work in Progress Wednesday

Over the Thanksgiving break, I picked up Shepherd's Bush Green Snowman. I felt like stitching something a little seasonal while we watched Worricker.

Worricker is a series of three television films written and directed by David Hare with an amazing cast including Bill Nighy, Michael Gambon, Ralph Fiennes, Rachel Weisz, Helena Bonham Carter, and Winona Rider. (Taken a little while to come across the pond.) The first film, Page Eight, we took out of the library but the other two were streaming on PBS. It was very compelling as you can imagine from a cast like that (although why did all the women have that Snow White look about them?) But I digress, I got a fair amount done. I think I stitch more when I watch tv, but we only watch a couple of hours or so a week. Cuts down on the stitching!

You can see how it looked last April (and when I picked it up) here.

Great progress on the snowman! I like to have something else going on when I stitch alone. Sometimes I watch Perry Mason on Youtube or listen to an audio book, or if the stitching isn't difficult I can listen to Japanese homework.

I can't imagine how anyone could cross stitch so finely while watching TV.
The Snowman looks good so far. I'll look forward to more.

Great progress on the snowman Nikki. I use to get a lot more stitching done when I watched TV. Now I seem to watch the TV more than I stitch.

I find it very difficult to WATCH TV while stitching, but I can LISTEN to the TV news or a rerun of something I have seen before.
Looking forward to the progress on your flowering snowman.

I love that snowman ;) I just finished a week SB piece last night myself - Santa's Fill stocking, which of course will show on my blog sometime in the next 20 days!
