That Marquoir

I did it! I worked on the marquoir. I worked on section 7a and 8a. It's not much but the last time I worked on it was in September 2011. The last time I showed a picture was March 2011.

If you'd like to see to scale, check here.

I didn't get as much time on this as I would have liked because I had to go to a fundraiser for the rescue organization I work for. Good thing we went because the dude won a bottle of scotch and some cigars!

I find it such a comfort to know there is at least one other stitcher with a WIP list as long as mine and a list, moreover, that includes projects more than a year or two "in progress".

Include me in the group with projects more than a year or two in progress. There are so many I want to get back to, but the new ones I keep starting get in the way! The marquoir is beautiful! Congratulations on working on it again.

I went back as you suggested and my reaction to the cheaters and 40 count is that at about 65 or so you'll have cataract surgery and a whole new world will open up (again).
A life without cheaters is marvelous even considering one must pay the price of getting older to reap it!

Nice to see this one in your rotation! I have those WIPS that have been languishing for years.

I'm thinking "No, I haven't got anything that old" then I start looking back through my blog and thinking "haven't worked on that for a couple of months...about 24 months to be exact!"
