Day 26: Contest

I've entered Joann's Create with 8 contest. They have a specified list of items you can choose to make a craft. I chose the following eight: ready-made frame, acrylic paint, foam, buttons, chenille stems, felt (precut squares), ribbon, and scrapbooking paper. I put them together to make this.

It's high concept. I even have a statement:
This frame follows the evolution of a crafter from gluing foam shapes to working with chenille stems (and buttons). The crafter gradually evolves to making felt and paper roses.

In the center is the only picture I could find of myself crafting. I'm cross-stitching jingle bells on a sweatshirt for my grandmother for Christmas from one of those Leisure Arts Christmas craft books. You also pinned real jingle bells onto the sweatshirt. (Yikes, right?) Let's try to ignore the horrible haircut.

I hope my readers who are on Facebook will follow the link and give me a vote if you feel moved. I appreciate it.

I tried to vote for you. I don't know if it worked as I ended up with a blank screen. Sigh.

You are almost to the end of March! As we used to cheer back in the day:

S-U-C-C-E-S-S - that's how we spell succes!

Just in case you need some encouragement...
