Anniversary Grouping

You people are way too good to me. You shouldn't be so encouraging and understanding when I tell you what a terrible person I am! Anyway, today I had to go to the farmer's market, and I was 100% more agreeable. Maybe because the sun was out?

Forgive Stella; she didn't make her bed today.
I brought my camera with me. I imagined taking beautiful shots of the artistically arranged vegetables. Turns out, walking around with a 15 pound turkey on your shoulder makes you want to cut out fast. Also, I must go to the poor man's version of Edgar's artistic farmer's markets. I did bring home some lovely Brussel sprouts and a gallon of cider (I needed the latter for the brine). But no photos.

I did remember to take a picture of the new anniversary arrangement in the bedroom. Loyal readers will remember that every year, I stitch a piece for the dude (see here). A while back, I reached a sort of critical mass on the arrangement in the stairs (original here), so I rearranged things in the stairs removing the anniversary pieces. Well, I put the latter up in the bedroom last week. (I may need to take the level to the arrangement.)

I love the arrangement. It intrigues me that so many of my blogging friends have stairways in their house which make their galleries so much more photogenic! Happy Thanksgiving to you and the Dude.

In eyeballing your anniversary arrangement, I think you did a marvelous job without using a level. It looks great. By the way, I belong to Stella's family tree--my bed didn't get made today either!

I cant believe I haven't come across your blog before, looking forward to following your stitching journey.

I love groups of samplers and both your bedroom and stairs display is impressive.

I keep reading it as "anniversary groping."

Carry on.
