Gardens and Mermaids

I finished the corner garden and made headway on the other three corners, but not so much as you need to see it.
I'm bringing out the troubled mermaid. Longtime readers will remember the tragic unstitching that had to be done with this one. I pulled her out last winter during the Olympics when I became a one at a time stitcher for two weeks. And then I didn't put her back into the rotation once. Let's see what I can manage.

I have your troubled mermaid's 2 unruly sisters in my WIP bin...not brave enough to pull them out at this point, though. Their beads made me twitchy.

Just catching up with you, since I missed your last post. I didn't realise that you are stitching the English knot garden! I love this design, and have it most of the Liz Turner Diehl historical garden patterns in my stash. I'll look forward to watching your progress. Confetti stitching or not, it will be gorgeous once it's done. :)

Your knot garden is looking lovely. Oh the mermaid. I again apologize for being such a terrible SAL partner. My mermaids are buried back in the depths of my WIP container. Sad, but true. Someday...someday...

Tragic unstitching. I just ripped out 12 rows like that ...

I can't claim to understand why the garden stitching (confetti, I think you said) is troublesome, but it looks lovely. Makes me want to go to the Cloisers.

The mermaid looks wonderful on that fabric.
