Crazy January Challenge: Day Five

Hoppin' Along Sampler
With Thy Needle and Thread
28 count Antique Ivory linen, unfortunately, the wrong size
Called for DMC threads

I didn't start this until the evening. I rallied in the morning to take Stella to the dog park. At the fifty minute mark, I  was starting to feel dizzy and since I still had to drive home, we packed it in. When I got home, I curled up on the couch. I started doing the math to convert this chart from 32-count to 28-count and promptly fell asleep for two hours. (It begins with two 12" squares, which has more to do with the finishing than the stitching.)  At around five the dude and I were both so hungry that we ate! I think we're on the mend.

Miriam, who's keeping us entertained in the comments through this challenge, wanted to know how I am storing all these projects between rounds. They are all jammed into my big stitching bag. Unfortunately, this is going to put a serious cramp in my style when I have to travel to stitch night in Chadds Ford.

And just a word to my other commenters, if you have your e-mail address in your blogger profile--or if you're not on blogger, on your blog--I will be able to respond to you. I would love to respond to your comments by e-mail, but I am thwarted, thwarted! Please consider it.

Glad to hear you're feeling better! I can't believe you tried to do a math conversion while feeling dizzy.

Alas, no guess today, as I know exactly what a sampler is. Since I DO look these up, I'll mention that I like the bunny! Is that what you have planned for finishing?

I have bag envy, it's adorable.

It is a very full bag and must weigh a ton. I guess you won't be skipping and hopping on the way to stitch night. It is a very good sign that you and the dude are hungry.

You appear to be way more organized then me. Such chaos isn't good in the world of people who are accountants..... Mine are stored in either zip lock bags or in project bags. Currently they're everywhere! I can't seem to find one central location to store them while awaiting their next turn.

I do hope you guys are on the mend. It's dreadful to feel nauseous and dizzy. Love this new start too - cute! And OMG I'm in love with your stitching bag too! I think I've finally fixed my email on my profile too.

Your organization and ability to do even rudimentary math while being both dizzy and tired is truly amazing. Me - seriously math challenged... it's pitiful.

Love the new start. What's not to love about letters and little animals scattered all about!?

I think that you need to make another bag. I have a spare, purple "I love to shop at the Silver Needle" piece already stitched up that I'm probably never going to use - want it?
