Not So Relaxing Vacation

The dude, Stella, and I are on "vacation." Stella has been terrorizing my mother's 13 year old chocolate lab, and we're even contemplating leaving early. She didn't listen a bit when we took her to dog beach to run around unleashed. I honestly had such a bad day yesterday I could hardly think of a positive thing to write in my happiness journal. I think I wrote, "woke up alive again today."

Plus it's freezing and pouring rain. Of course, that meant it was perfect weather for the Wells Chilifest. The dude has wanted to attend one for a long time, and now he has.

I'm going back to the couch to curl up under the blanket and stitch.

It's tricky taking the dog on vacation. We chickened out this summer taking the girls and they stayed with their big sissy :-). Don't give up, just count it as a not so great experience and work on the behavioral things that made you nuts this time. Our two don't listen when we call them either. I can't imagine letting them off the leash, you are brave girlfriend. Have a good stitching afternoon!

Positive thoughts - You woke up and now you'll have guilt free time to snuggle up warmly and stitch. You might even see some progress on your work.
I hope the rest of your holiday is stress free

Sorry it's not going so well. Hope that the rain, and Stella, settle down and it is more enjoyable soon. Looking forward to seeing your stitching progress. BTW, I love the new one Pumpkin Conspiracy too, too cute, all the little crows are wonderful.

We've always taken Rigby on vacation, and honestly, it's not the most relaxing thing to do with one's free time. I guess it's something you sort of grow into. Hmm. This doesn't sound very comforting, though it's intended to. ;)

I hoping that you were able to get some sun yesterday. We did here in NY (on Long Island). As for Stella. Poor baby. I hope she's gotten tired enough to give you some peace. I found that's what I had to do when I took my Rory to the beach. But I would never let him off lead. Well, of course that meant lots of walking for me too. :) Walking I'll do but running? As little as possible. LOL
