Día de los Muertos

On Thursday, Sissy and I went stamping. We stamped some Christmas cards. We were looking for ideas for our own card making. Of the three cards our rep had for us, I'm only in love with one.

The Jesus-y Christmas card. So I'm stamping at my Christian (bible study, lady's church group-type) Stampin' Up! rep's house, and I actually say, "My Christmas isn't about Jesus. I'm culturally Christian." Because I'm just that sensitive. So anyway, that's why this card is incomplete. The white square had "Christ is Born" embossed in gold on it. Who would I send that to? I'm looking for a substitute: "Christmas doesn't have to be all Jesusy" or "Where my presents, ho?" Something along those lines.

The over the top card. She doesn't usually do things like this. I thought it was way too fussy. We did get to use the Big Shot. (Big deal.) And then we spent a million years putting these together. Mine still aren't glued together.

My favorite. The one we'll probably replicate. Cute. Woodsy.

Better schedule a stamping date with Sissy to get those Christmas cards done...

I like the 3rd card best as well. Nice layout-could be used with a lot of different stamps and papers.

The third one is my favourite. The other two aren't very Christmasy. When did blue become a Christmas colour, anyway?

You know, I thought I was on the ball because I was *thinking* about Christmas. Yeesh! You're shedding your light on my slackerdom.

I won't do half what you're doing, but I'm going to follow your scheduling example.

"By the Sea" is so pretty what a lovely piece!!! I am in love with the woodsey card. Like you we have already started to get our card together - Rico and I had a photographer friend get some snaps of us and the hounds for our card a couple of weeks ago - now waiting for the proofs to make a decision - and fix the unfixable with photshop!! :)

I like the Woodsy card! Although your Jesus card has possibilities, especially with new wording.
