Blogging Every Day

The nablopomo people sent me a link to this new group: Blog 365. I'm crazy to even be thinking about it, aren't I? I know I won't be able to blog from stitching camp--I can hardly get mobile service. And what about the trip to Thailand? No, the more I think about it, the less sense it makes...unless...guest blogger? best pal I'm looking at you.

I will be participating in (Inter)National DeLurking Week (2nd week of January), which means I'll be out there commenting, and I hope you all will come out of the closet and give a shout out to me too. I love me some comments.

(Inter)National DeLurking Week? Well, not much of a problem for me since I leave comments all over the web! As far as Blog 365, the answer is NO! Let's blog when we have something to SAY. I'm not a writer of fiction, although many of my friends are, so I stick to a pithy comment now and then, even an essay, but leave the volumes to others.

Thailand? When? Where? We were in Bangkok a number of years ago (also Ko Samui and Phuket on a cruise). For me Thailand is silk, especially Jim Thompson silk. I even did a pilgrimage to Jim Thompson's house, then bought a ton of stuff at his store. Besides the usual, 2008 is Portugal (and the Canary Islands and Morocco and Gibraltar and Spain -- another cruise). Still trying to get enough countries for the Century Travelers Club.

It's always good to have a goal I guess but every day? Good luck if you decide to jump.

I've already been delurked on your blog but I'm pretty quiet, so here's a shoutout!

I've been reading your blog for a couple of months now and I LOVE it, you find the most interesting things to talk about and have the best take on things.

I got that email and realized immediately that I am not that crazy or dedicated either one. I was barely crazy enough for November.
